Paddle to Recover Indigenous Voices
August 1, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join the Nolumbeka Project and the Connecticut River Conservancy for a paddle in observance of “River Stories 2020: Recovering Indigenous Voices” celebrating the Indigenous Tribes of the Connecticut River. The Wampanoag Aquinnah crew will join us to paddle their traditional dug-out mishoon in a celebratory procession up the Connecticut River. This round-trip paddle will launch from the Public Boat Ramp in Gill, MA. Bring your own lunch/snacks and we’ll paddle, eat, drift and chat together on the river!
Rain date: August 2
We will follow the MA guidelines during the COVID pandemic regarding group size. There are no rental boats available at this time.
