In honor of World Water Day, CRC joins the CT League of Conservation Voters, Save the Sound, Rivers Alliance, Citizens Campaign for the Environment, Clean Water Action, CT Land Conservation Council, The Nature Conservancy, and other partners are coming together for a virtual celebration exploring “What Water Means to Me.”

Please join us for a free virtual event including:

  • Remarks from Gov. Lamont
  • “Water Wizard” performance by Cyril the Sorcerer (recycling guru CJ May)
  • Panel on the diverse meanings of water in our lives with invited guests representing Indigenous, youth, urban, health expert, and other perspectives
  • Additional speakers (including a very special invited keynote!) highlighting key issues facing our inland waters, Sound, and oceans, including CRC’s River Steward in CT, Kelsey Wentling

The event will be accompanied by social media days and a World Water Day resource page with action opportunities and information on top issues.
