Ever wonder where your water comes from when you turn on the faucet?

Through art-making and conversation, this workshop is designed to build awareness around our local water resources and how they relate to the Connecticut River. Together, we will learn how to be better stewards of the water that sustains our life and ecosystems!

We will begin with a short presentation from Nina Gordon-Kirsch, the Massachusetts River Steward at the Connecticut River Conservancy. She will teach us about local water resources, how they get to our tap, and where they go after we use them. Then we will have community conversation and creation time - weaving together our knowledge and reverence for water.

Light refreshments will be served.

Sulis Studio is an artist collective and community art space that hosts workshops, classes and collaborative events. We partner with local organizations and artists to promote community responsibility for the arts, healing, and social justice.

Accessibility: The building is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp in the front of the building and a freight elevator in the back. There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms located on the first floor. There will be floor and chair seating available in the space, including a couch, floor cushions, stools, and standing options.

This event will be located indoors. Masks are encouraged but not mandatory.
