About the event

Massachusetts has experienced severe drought over the past two years, with a variety of recommendations to conserve water use as much as possible. Join us to learn what greywater is with Massachusetts River Steward Nina Gordon-Kirsch, and better understand how you can make the most of the water that flows into your home. We will talk about where your water comes from, where it goes after you use it, and look at what impact a human-made water cycle has on the watershed.

This presentation will provide a background on what greywater is, what the legalities are in MA, and how you can be a part of the solution of water reuse. There are many types of greywater systems; we will discuss Laundry-to-Landscape (L2L) greywater systems, as these are very simple designs that we are looking to legalize now in MA.

This meeting is a virtual event. If you’d like to attend in person, please contact Nina at ngordonkirsch@ctriver.org.
