The Paddle The Border (PTB) event is in its 23^rd year! PTB was started as a way for community organizations from Vermont and New Hampshire to work together to showcase our shared asset - the Connecticut River. PTB promotes the natural, cultural, historic, scenic, and recreational resources of the Connecticut River, in a way that also provides an economic boost to the area. PTB is held twice a year (Spring and Fall), weather permitting. No rain dates are planned. All participants must abide by safe boating rules and regulations. The approximate paddle time is 3-1/2 to 4 hours. Music and cookout to follow at Bugbee Landing!

There is a free shuttle from the take out to launch site. It will leave at 10am and then again at 11am. Drop you boat, gear, and passengers off at launch site, drive to the take out, and a bus will bring you back to launch site. Drop off boats at Newbury Boat Launch between 9-10 to ensure there is enough time to bring cars to Bugbee Landing and get the bus back to the boat launch. Travel time ~ 1/2 hour with drop off and traffic. Give yourself extra time!  

First bus at 10am, second at 11am.  

This gives us a suggested launch time of 10:30 to 11:30am.
