This site is on a steep bank of Hewes Brook, A tributary to the Connecticut River. This site is a large scree slope of trash that has accumulated over many decades. This site was a town dump at one point. Illegal dumping continues to occur.
Hewes brook is a tributary of the Connecticut River. From this site it is less than a mile to the river. The trash makes its way into Hewes Brook and then into the Connecticut.
