Great news! Donors met and exceeded the Upper Valley’s Connecticut River Challenge. With another generous donor stepping in to match gifts beyond the original $65,500 challenge offer, Vermont and New Hampshire donors rallied to provide more than $140,000 for hydro-relicensing-first funding!

To the 100-plus donors, THANK YOU!

Since hydro-relicensing only happens every forty years, this moment in time provides the best opportunity in many decades to dramatically improve the health and life of the river. With CRC representing public interest in relicensing of the five hydro facilities spanning the heart of the Connecticut River, this support now will shape a better future for the river — in the Upper Valley, for Vermont and New Hampshire, and across the river’s length.

Thank you for all whose response and generosity helped meet and exceed the goal of the Upper Valley’s Connecticut River Challenge.

To stay apprised of the hydro-relicensing process or CRC’s efforts specifically, I encourage you to sign-up for hydro-related updates via email.
