Brief description of the trash site

A beautiful forested area along the River you will want to return to walk, fish and picnic. The thing that makes this site a bit challenging is that all the debris needs to be walked back up to Stone Farm Lane or carried out to Turners Falls Road. A wheelbarrow or garden cart would be the perfect thing. Truly ambitious folks can walk parallel to the river all the way to Turners Falls Road. The steep slope below the road routinely has tires and heavy littler.

Park on dirt road extension of Stone Farm Lane nearby where another dirt road blocked by large stones heads off to the right.

This site is perfect for people who like to hike, want to clean nearby a beautiful stretch of river, and will enjoy the challenge of moving debris to the trail head. Debris removal can be arranged by Beth Bazler at FirstLight - elizabeth(dot)bazler(at)firstlightpower(dot)com Check out the video to know how to handle any special wastes found on site. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qadD28gT_rU
