Brief description of the trash site
A beautiful forested area along the River you will want to return to to walk, fish and picnic. The thing that makes this site a bit challenging is that all the debris needs to be walked back up to Stone Farm Lane. A wheelbarrow or garden cart would be the perfect thing to bring along, and a shovel to thread through the tires will make them easier for two people to carry them if they don't roll uphill well. Check out the map provided as a photo that shows the trails in the area. The Green circle shows where the party/camping trash and two tires are located and the red circle shows where there are two >3-year-old homeless campsites are. Both areas require bushwacking to find all the trash "prizes!"
Park on dirt road extension of Stone Farm Lane nearby where another dirt road blocked by large stones heads off to the right.
This site is perfect for people who like to hike , want to clean nearby a beautiful stretch of river, and will enjoy the challenge of moving debris to the trail head. Debris removal can be arranged by Beth Bazler at FirstLight - elizabeth(dot)bazler(at)firstlightpower(dot)com.
