New Magazine about Life of the Connecticut River.

Estuary is a new magazine for the many stakeholders of the Connecticut River. The magazine features articles about recreation, science & conservation, birding & wildlife, history, people & lifestyles … all along the 410-mile long river and its dozens of major and minor tributaries. As a subscriber, you will be able to track projects addressing the many challenges facing the River. You will find places to kayak, camp, fish, hike, bike and spot birds of interest. You can learn about people and institutions who are important to the River. Travels throughout the watershed will be highlighted including sights to see, things to do and places to eat and stay.

Each issue will offer tidbits of the fabulous history of the Connecticut River from pollution and despair to reconstitution and future preservation, from geology to the early inhabitants, from wars to governance in primitive times, to early shipbuilding and commerce. Estuary will always include inspiring photographs and other graphics; a great gift as the printed Estuary will be worth saving.
