Brief description of the trash site

Tires and other trash mostly scattered across a large (>1.5 acres) flat sand bar in Passumpsic River downstream of downtown St. Johnsbury. There are some - and many more - tires and other trash farther downstream. The site is exposed at low river flows but submerged at high flows. The sandbar is accessible at low flows across a shallow channel. Site be accessed by private road or railroad right-of-way (with permission).
