Brief description of the trash site

This is the shoreline of Beechwoods Park on the east bank of the river, below the Holyoke dam and the Rt. 116 bridge. There is parking right on the edge of the riverbank, which is steep and rocky. Its a popular picnic and party spot, with nice views of the rapids below the dam. There are several paths down the bank to the water. Nearby riverbank parks may also be in need of cleanup.
