About the event
Northampton Community Rowing (NCR) is hosting a “Row for the River” fundraiser, an event dedicated to preserving the Connecticut River. This unique fundraiser combines community spirit, environmental stewardship, and the thrill of rowing, AND, CRC is a beneficiary!
A celebration will follow at the Northampton Community Rowing Boathouse. All are welcome!
Schedule of the day:
9am - 11:30am Rowers on the go!
Noon - 2pm Celebration at Northampton Community Rowing Boathouse
How it works:
Rowers of all ages and abilities from clubs along the Connecticut River will launch from the docks at the Mt. Holyoke Community boathouse and row approximately 8 miles to land at the NCR Boathouse in Northampton. With more than 50 rowers participating in this event, we will cumulatively cover the entire distance of the Connecticut River in a single day!
How You Can Help:
Participate - NCR rowers, your river needs you! To participate in this important fundraiser, we ask that you set up your fundraising page and reach out to friends, family and your social network to collect pledges. Then join us on September 15th for a day of rowing and fun!
Donate - Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
